How are  your reindeers doing?

are your elves  ready for christmas ?

how many elves do you have?

what is your favorite raindeer ?

are all of your elves well ?

we usually stay home or go to wanaka in wanaka we go on the boat and go fishing and have a massive feast and pull crackers. When we have christmas at home we watch a christmas  movie eat chocolate  and listen to  carols and for dinner we have chicken.

For christmas I would really like a,

• Zombie nerf strike
• micro charger
• and bike gloves .

DEEP FEATURES Brainstorms to identify main ideas to be used in writing. Uses most of the main ideas in the writing. Uses paragraphs and sequences ideas. Attempts to end writing with a simple conclusions.

SURFACE FEATURES Spells most words correctly. Uses capital letters, full stops, commas, apostrophes, question marks, exclamation marks.

THE REWORKER / EDITOR Rereads writing to edit out information that does not improve the message. Rereads writing to edit in words and phrases that improve the message. Uses a dictionary to identify and check spelling attempts. Checks writing for basic punctuation.

Vroom vroom a car raced up the  driveway. Finally it was time to go to Jim’s house for a sleepover. When I got into the car Fizz their dog was sitting next to me in the back. She kept putting her front paws on my lap.               

When we got there me and Jim had to play outside because we were locked out.

Finally we unlocked the house so now we could get inside. When we got inside we played around in the garden.

When Max got home we played medieval wars. The teams were me and Jim vs Max and Laurence. Me and Jim lost. Then we swapped the teams to me and Max vs Jim and Laurence. Me and Max won. Before we went to bed we watched Fantastic Four. In the morning we made a cake.

Before we left we played on the Wii. Then it was time to leave.

Grrrrr grrrrr grrrrrr the Suzuki Swift went as it roared down the driveway. Nana and my mum were going to Wellington to see the opera. Me, my sister and my dad were at the theatre watching How To Train Your Dragon 2. When the movie was finished me, my sister and my dad and Rachel and Lily went for a walk along the beach. All of a sudden I stopped in front of a sheep's carcass. When they caught up with me Lily spotted a fire on the beach so we suddenly started to pick up sticks to keep it going. As I was gathering sticks I got a huge fright as I saw a dead Mako shark just lying there. So I picked up a stick and tried to pull it’s tooth out but it didn't work. When we got home we played lego. Finally it was time to put on a movie. I chose Over The Hedge. After one night mum and nana were back from the opera. Mum had brought us a collection of little plastic animals. I got a tiger, lion, gorilla, giraffe and a rhino and my sister got a flamingo, meerkat, panda and a tiger. Then my mum told me the story she saw called Poo Bum and then it was time for bed.

I heard my cat purring

I heard my mum tidying up

I saw my cat curled up asleep on my bed

I saw  funny patterns on the roof

I felt my cat pouncing at my feet

I felt the covers scratch me as I move in my bed.

I wondered if there was going to be a storm. wondered what I was going to have for breakfast.

In class I have been learning about the points of the compass and directions.

This week I learnt about a programme called Scratch which uses directions to create a little computer program.

My job was to use Scratch to create something that could be shared with the rest of the class. What my Scratch was about was all down to me and my imagination! I had to be creative!
